Post graduate training in journalism successfully started in Kurdistan, Iraq
 

The first post graduate journalism training in Iraq was successfully opened on Saturday in Irbil. The Kurdish minister of Culture Falahadin Kakei opened the training of young Iraqi graduates “Media bo Khalq” (Media for People), together with the minister of Foreign Relations, Falah Mustafa. Press Now director Leon Willems joined the two Kurdish ministers in the opening session.

 
   

“Press Now is proud to be supporting the IMCK and thus Media bo Khalq”, he told the audience of diplomats, press and trainees. The training will be financed with Dutch, American, British and Kurdish funding. In the morning around twenty young graduates started the training, which will last for 8 months and takes place in Irbil.
