During the year, Press Now offers several internships. Students in journalism, communications, international affairs, political sciences, or another relevant subject, who are interested in media development and political developments in the regions in which Press Now works, can apply for an internship. Good verbal and writing skills of both English and Dutch, as well as the ability to work with computers and internet are required. Press Now is supported by many private donors, who are often closely involved with our work. Their personal donations are a great help to our work. Private donations provide Press Now with a significant independent source of income, which allows us to finance special projects and assures our independence. As a donor, you will receive our (Dutch) newsletter three times a year, with which we inform you about our activities, partners, projects, and media developments in the region. Become a private donor by authorising Press Now to debit a fixed donation to your bank account once every month, 3 months, 6 months, or per year, by means of a standing order. In this way Press Now is ensured of regular donations and we economise on transfer charges.
You can authorise Press Now for a standing order with the form on the next page (Financial Support: press here). Please, fill in this form and sign it, and send it to us by mail. The bank orders your signature in order to carry out your standing order. If you do not have a printer, you can order a form by e-mail or phone info@pressnow.nl or +31 35 62 54 300). In case you do not live in The Netherlands, please ask your bank to arrange your transfer. |
